Job description: HR and Business Coordinator

About us:

   Join Our Growing Team! Sednair seeks an HR and Business Coordinator for our newly opened office in Northern Houston, TX.

Job Summary:

  The HR and Business Coordinator will be responsible for delivering a superior customer experience throughout the customer-buying journey and ensuring execution of our sales orders. The right candidate will need to liaise between our customers, factories, and 3rd-party partners and bring a combination of experience in account management and human resources.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with various accounting functions and run payroll and bookkeeping for the company

2. Update and maintain office policies and procedures, and support other administrative duties.

3. Support Human Resources functions including talent acquisition, onboarding and employee data management.

4. Perform all other duties as assigned

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:

1. This is an onsite position with travel up to 5%

2. OT as needed

Basic Qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferably in the field of human resources, business administration, accounting, finance, or a relevant field

2. 5+ years of experience in human resources position at a multinational company is a plus

3. Knowledge and understanding of office procedures and protocols

4. Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)

5. Successful candidates must be able to perform a wide variety of bookkeeping tasks within QuickBooks, including

  • Generating a vendor payable by using bill pay, writing a check, and paying by credit card.
  • Adjusting journal entries, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, and do transfers between internal accounts.
  • Creating an invoice, generating a credit memo, and recording payment on an invoice.
  • Creating loan payable accounts and recording payments on the account.
  • Please note that candidates may be asked to demonstrate these and other QuickBooks skills during the interview process.

6. Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Fluent in a second language will be a plus
